Nick and Chad did great work on my water heater replacing the elements

Called Monday morning, Mike was here by noon explained the scope of the repair , quoted the price & did a great job!

Shad was great. He fixed a leak we had in the basement within a short period of coming to look at it. He came back out with Nick and Dylan and helped us with our water quality and pressure issues as well. Really great guys. My dog approves.

Nick, Shad, and Dillon did an excellent job installing new water treatment system, water heater and pump. They were polite and informative.

Short backstory
Bought a house here in Mount Airy about six months ago. About three months ago, we had some leaking in the basement that occurred from our sewer line being invaded by a tree root.
Of course it was such a hassle Having just bought a new home and having to deal with this new headache. I called multiple companies and of course I used reading sons because they were highly recommended .

To my first estimate with the contractor, it was hassle free. We’re upfront and honest being in the industry and contracting business myself. I really appreciate the knowledge that came with it.

I ended up using them as the company and today everything was just finished and is now smooth sailing. They even found an additional problem. I did not know of, and continued to help me out at the original cost of the quote.

Called Reed and Sons out for a backed up toilet. It became a total mess and they found a cracked pipe that should have been discovered by the last plumber we used. The guys that came out went thru hell and made sure everything was back the way it was before they left. There extra work found a big problem. The best plumbers I ever used. I had a leaking main water shut off valve. Called Reed and Sons and they were able to give me an appointment the next day. This was fine since the leak was slow.

Shad and Nicholas showed up on time the next day. They introduced themselves and were very friendly and polite. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and provided me two options for the repair. They explained to me everything they would need to do and what parts would be required. After choosing one of the options they got right to work and had it fixed in about 45 minutes.

Shad and Nicholas were both extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you would have.

With all the cold weather, it is no surprise that we had a problem with one of our pipes. I called after 4 pm and Reed & Sons was able to come over within the hour and fix the problem. Thank you so much.

With the recent frigid weather we had frozen pipes everywhere The country house is very old dating back to the late 1890's in terms of its age. The recent wether was brutal on the structure. We called Reed and Son as soon as we discovered the damage which took several days due to frozen snow all around. So the problem was very bad by the time we discovered it threatening our well. The well had to be replaced underground and some frozen pipes under the house repaired.The work required digging a long, deep trench from the well in the front yard to the back yard, replacing the underground lines and connecting them to the inside tank. They were VERY responsive arriving on that very day in about 20 minutes after our call. They were very knowledgeable which gave us confidence that they had accurately assessed the problem. We got the estimate and were able to schedule the repair two days later. They arrived with a crew and machinery and completed the repairs agreed to in a day!!! They kept us informed as they worked which gave us great comfort. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will DEFINITELY call them first if we need a plumber. Totally professional and serious workers.

These guys (Joe and Dyllan) were awsome to do business with. They came to fix my spigot and were honest and friendly. Also their repair charges were reasonable and affordable. I will certainly call them again if I need any plumbing work in the future.

We had a leak from a frozen pipe. Someone came
Out the same day we called. Butch showed up and was able to locate the problem quickly and offered a solution to the problem with minimal disruption. Butch was friendly, knowledgeable and able to have our pipe fixed and better than originally installed. He cleaned up whatever mess he made. We had a complete failure of our water heater on a Wednesday night. After calling Reed and Sons on Thursday morning, they had a new water installed and the old one taken away by noon on Thursday. Dakota and Dylan we very professional and their work was outstanding. The office staff was also very good and very helpful. Reed and Sons is our go to company from now on for all of our plumbing needs in our home.

Woke up to a dreaded wet patch of carpet this morning. After scouring reviews I decided to contact Reed and Son - and I'm so glad I did! They had same day availability and even ended up getting to me earlier than originally planned. Mike and Dylan were so pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. On this occasion, Mike and Dylan diagnosed the issue of an iced roof air vent causing my toilets to not flush properly. Despite frigid temperatures and a long work day ahead after the big snowstorm, they took their time to thoroughly test/inspect my water pipes, explain the situation, and answer my questions. Had a water heater installed. The technician (Butch) arrived on time. He was very friendly and polite. He used drop cloths and boot covers to protect the floors. Started and finished the install in a timely manner. I would definitely use this service again and refer to others!

Chase and Alex arrived promptly and were very professional and took care of a very tough pipe repair. I had a turnoff valve that had been very slowly leaking on my I beam for who knows how long. They were able to put in new piping and valves successfully with only a small drywall repair needed (thanks to the horrible location of these valves). Clean up was great. I would use them again and highly recommend.
